About Rachaele

Patchwork House first opened in 2021, founded by Rachaele Hambleton.

 After going into the care system as a teen, moving into her first bedsit aged 16 and entering an abusive relationship when she was 19 where she had her first two daughters and remained for a decade Rachaele always promised herself and others after she fled in 2010 with her children that if she was ever in the position to help other women and children she would. 

Fast forward eleven years and Patchwork House women’s centre the opened its doors.
As well as overseeing this Rachaele is also the face behind social media platforms  Part-time Working Mummy since 2016.

She is a content creator,quadruple Sunday times bestselling author, speaker, campaigner, and fashion line creator.

In her unique frank and open style, she continued to write and talks about her ever-changing blended family dynamics, six wonderful children, autism, dogs & husband Josh.

Rachaelecontinues to campaign for victims of domestic abuse and bullying. 

Rachaele is an ambassador and spokesperson for Kidscape and Trevi Women and Children’s Charity UK, & is a critical friend for HMCTS – HM Courts & Tribunals Service (Family Court Working Group). 

Rachaele has a highly engaged and supportive social media family on Patreon, Instagram
and Facebook, reaching nearly 800k people across her multiple accounts, and has
previously toured the country with a one woman show in 2023 and with the
release of The Patchwork Family in 2018 visited 12 venues with 250-300 capacity
each, all selling out. She recently celebrated the publication of her No.1
Sunday Times fourth bestselling book, The Power in You, where she talks about
the issues women and children face in society.

 

Rachaele continues to raise awareness for domestic abuse upon her platforms &
facilitates the domestic abuse course within the centre alongside her incredible colleagues.
